Ms. Iorio graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.S in Psychology and a Minor in Mathematics. She has experience with different wet lab techniques such as protein quantification, immunoprecipitation, nanoparticle tracking analysis, and super resolution microscopy. In the Ferguson Lab, Emma focuses on enhancing her skills while conducting research involving spinal cord and brain injury in animal models. Using knowledge of R programming language, she also focuses on cleaning and managing large sets of data to be further analyzed and interpreted for potential discoveries in neurotrauma research. With her never-ending interest in the relationship between the brain and behavior, she intends to continue her education in Behavioral Neuroscience.
